Accessibility
Effective date: July 7, 2026
Green Wellness wants its website to work for everyone. This statement explains what we are doing to make that true and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Contents
1. Our commitment
Green Wellness is committed to making its website and online services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every patient to be able to learn about our services, check their eligibility, book an appointment, and manage their care — regardless of how they access the web.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox: we review new pages and features against these guidelines and fix issues as we find them.
2. What we have done
Steps we have taken to make this site more accessible include:
- A "Skip to content" link so keyboard users can jump past the navigation. - Keyboard operability for the site's interactive controls, with a visible focus indicator. - Text alternatives (labels) for buttons, form fields, and meaningful images so screen readers can describe them. - Color-contrast targets checked automatically on every release for the patient-facing pages. - Respect for your "reduce motion" system setting, so animations are minimized if you prefer. - Text that can be resized and pages that reflow without breaking when you zoom in. - A light, high-contrast color scheme for our intake and booking forms.
3. Known limitations
We are honest about where we still have work to do. Some areas that may present barriers:
- Our video-visit tool is provided by a third party (Doxy.me). Its accessibility is controlled by that vendor, not by us. - Some downloadable or third-party documents may not yet be fully accessible. - Newly released pages may contain issues we have not yet caught.
If you encounter any of these, please tell us using the contact below — and we will help you get what you need another way while we fix it.
4. Report a barrier or request an accommodation
If any part of this website is difficult to use, or you need information or a service in a different format, contact us — a real person will help. Please tell us the page or task you were trying to complete and the barrier you ran into.
Email: admin@greenwellness.org Phone: 1-888-885-9949
We aim to respond within two business days. If you need to book, reschedule, or ask a question and the website is not working for you, our staff can complete it for you by phone. Nobody should be turned away from care because of a website barrier.
5. Ongoing improvement
Your feedback helps us do better. We treat accessibility reports as issues to fix, not complaints to file away. This statement will be updated as our website and our accessibility practices evolve; the effective date above reflects the most recent update.
