Can I get a Washington State medical marijuana card via telehealth?
Yes. Washington State law permits telehealth evaluations for medical marijuana authorization. Green Wellness physicians conduct secure video appointments for both new patients and renewals statewide.
How long does a telehealth MMJ evaluation take?
New patient appointments typically take 20–30 minutes. Renewal appointments are 15–20 minutes. Your written authorization is issued the same day.
What technology do I need for a telehealth appointment?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. No special software required — we use a secure browser-based video platform.
Is my telehealth MMJ appointment covered by insurance?
No. Medical marijuana evaluations are not covered by health insurance. The fee is $175 for new patients and $140 for annual renewals, collected at booking.
Do I need to be in Washington State during my telehealth appointment?
Yes. You must be physically located in Washington State at the time of your appointment. Our physicians are licensed in WA and can only evaluate WA residents for the WA medical program.
